I tried to keep this video short as possible but like always I may have let it run a little bit longer than it should. Lol.
This is an installation of a battery disconnect switch in the lid of a battery box that's mounted on the tongue of your RV. You could
also use this if you have it mounted on a trailer for a winch operation or other things like that. What I wanted to do is make sure that I could turn off my power supply at the battery box going to my rv without disconnecting the cable every single time. Reason
being is that my charger doesn't have the best technology as far as trickle charging and whenever you're hooking up to it it also has a tendency to spark a lot which I don't care to do around the battery as you might guess. So ,what this does is allow me to regulate
how much charge the battery gets and if I have the camper disconnected from shore power for some time it's nice that I'm able to turn off the battery so it doesn't completely drain it when not in use. I hope this video helps thanks for watching!
