I used 2 and a half quarts of high heat bbq black (satin black) did three medium coats. Satin black and bbq black are the same finish (matte black).

Prep the truck had a primer paint job already so I just dry sanded with 400 and then wet sanded with 400.

I shot using a harbor freight hvlp gravity gun at 20psi giving it a light to medium spray. I did not thin the paint but from reading the can I guess you can if you want to.

I also sprayed all my trim.
