Rummy is a dark thriller Tamil movie. The movie is about the life of two youth joining the same college. They fall in love with two others girls from a village near by the college. The girls belong to a powerful family in the village. The story proceeds with a mix of college and love getting along well, until the youth are faced with a life threat from the girls families. The rest of the story is outlined by one of the friend getting ed and the other avenging him.
