Bullet Trials Works Replica is a homage to the Royal Enfield’s success in trials championships in 1950s. While competition spec trials bikes are usually light and minimal, Royal Enfield has given this one a rugged look with upgrades like an upswept exhaust, luggage rack, dual purpose tyres, handlebar cross brace, bash plate and so on. The engine and cycle parts have been lifted off the Bullet.
Powering Trials 350 is a carburetted 346cc engine developing 19.8bhp and 28Nm, while Trials 500 gets a fuel injected 499c powerplant, good for 27.2bhp and 41.3Nm.
It isn’t a limited edition bike like Pegasus, but Trials does cost around Rs 20,000 more than standard Bullet variants at Rs 1.62 lakhs for Trials 350 and Rs 2.07 lakhs for Trials 500. So are they worth this price?
