Royal Enfield Guerrilla/Hunter 450 Details
The overall styling of the upcoming Scram 452 is very similar to that of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 with the round headlight and the rounded tank design. The tank has flat surfaces on either side and that’s where we think the Royal Enfield badging will appear on the tank. The rearend, though, looks like that of the allnew Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, with the tail light integrated into the LED indicators. The split grab rail design is different from the smaller capacity Scram. The upcoming Hunter 450 gets a telescopic fork for a competitive pricing, and monoshock suspension setup. We wouldn’t mind not having an inverted fork as long as it is tuned well. The raised handlebar and the mid set footpeg positioning translates to an upright riding position similar to that of the Hunter 350.

The round instrument console is mostly the same unit found on the Himalayan 452. The Scram 452 seems to get 19inch front and 17inch rear wheels with blockpattern tyres and the alloy wheel design seems similar to that of the Shotgun 650. It will be powered by the same 450cc, singlecylinder, liquidcooled, Sherpa engine found in the Himalayan 450, where it produces 40.02PS and 40Nm. The engine tuning of the engine in the Scram 450 is expected to be different to better suit the roadster’s character.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 450 will likely get a price tag of about Rs 2.40lacs to 2.60Lacs (exshowroom) and it is expected to be launched by the Aug/Sept. 2024.
