Today we take a ride up the B4391 Milltir Carrog Pass. Even some of the locals aren't aware this pass has a name. If you were to continue along the B439, you would eventually reach Bala. A nice scenic route, with stunning rolling hills.
On the return, we take a very narrow, unclassified road, which takes us from Llangynog to PenYBontFawr, and find an interesting relic from the old railway line.
Hope you enjoy the ride.

thank you.
Edit :
Regarding the bricked up bridge. I have since carried out some research, and discovered that beneath the bridge, are pipes which carry water from Lake Vyrnwy to Liverpool. In the late 1960’s, the Welsh Nationalists had actively targeted these pipelines with explosives. One close to Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant, had been blown up, and although the one in this video, hadn’t been attacked, it was bricked up as a preventative measure. It is believed that the gates were installed when the railway bridge was built, so access could be made to the pipes for maintenance.
Very interesting.
