This is a true test of the royal Canin Persian kitten food . I just opened the bag of food and this is how the cats naturally reacted. I did not cut or edit video in any way.
I ordered food from Chewy.com and got it the next day. Our kitten Sushi is abut 4 months old and I thought it was time to switch her from the Royal Canin Babycat formula to the Persian kitten formula. She never had this food before and was not sure how she would react.
I was trying to transition the cats to the Costco Kirkland food because it seemed to be a good food at an affordable price. I slowly over two weeks mixed their food and kept putting more and more of the Kirkland and less of the Royal Canin. Then gave them only Kirkland for two days and then I noticed they did not eat all their food and seemed hungry and bothered me for treats. I did notice one softer stool in the litterbox so then figured it might not be good to take away their Royal Canin Persian cat food now so I ordered the Royal Canin and will now transition them back and maybe try to transition slower. The only reason I am trying to transition them to a new food is because I now have 4 cats and it is getting expensive to feed them. Since we are not breeding now it is a good time to try a different food. I must say the Royal Canin food is keeping my cats coat soft. GiGi's fur is thick and fluffy she is about 9 months old now she was eating the Royal Canin Persian adult formula with Penny and Purrcy.
