In this video, we meet Tash and Connor, aka Carramello, a couple living fulltime in their self built yellow Mercedes Vario Van. With over two years on the road, Tash and Connor have transformed their van into a luxury mobile home that fits their adventurous, offgrid lifestyle. As selfemployed roofers, their van also doubles as a mobile work base, giving them the freedom to travel and park at job sites while enjoying the comforts of home.

They share their motivation for choosing life on the road over a traditional mortgage, highlighting the freedom, cost savings, and flexibility it provides. From their spacious “garage” for bikes to their 280L water tank and solarpowered system, every detail in the van has been customized for comfort and efficiency. Tash and Connor also reveal how they stay connected with a welcoming community of nomads, and also proving that van life can support any career—even those that aren’t fully online.

We get a full tour their offgrid setup, outdoor cooking station, rooftop deck, and from a motorbike in the back, to a wine cooler, marble counter top, and an LED star effect bathroom ceiling and all the other custom touches that make this van the ultimate blend of style, adventure, and freedom
