River and Mr. Otterton are the most adorable pair!  Will you help us find them a family to love?

River and Mr. O came from the same property, and love to snuggle!  Sleek panther River is still a kitten, and floofy Mr. Otterton is the sweetest, most gentle older fellow.  We think Mr. O would be delighted to spend his sunset years on a comfy bed, purring by the fire or looking out the window.

We would love to find a home for these two together, as River helps Mr. Otterton feel safe.

River is a healthy, playful young boy, with so much love to give!  Purrmachine Mr. Otterton has FIV after spending so much of his life surviving in the outdoors, which means his immune system isn't as strong as healthy cats.  He may be more susceptible to getting sick throughout his life, or he may live a totally normal kitty life. He will be going to the vet this week so we can see how he's responding to treatment for the outdoor cat infections (ear mites, parasites) he came in with.

FIV is not considered contagious within an indoor setting, as it is mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds.  Grooming, sharing dishes, and playful wrestling are safe activities in homes where one cat has FIV and others do not.
