Go behind the scenes and experience the Rio Ferdinand Foundation and the International Fund for Ireland's incredible' Beyond the Ball' celebration at Sligo Rovers Football Club, with Rio Ferdinand, Joel Beya, and Eman SV2 all lacing up their boots to join in with the action!

An actionpacked few days in Sligo and Ballina saw Rio Ferdinand join young people at Ballina Football Club and meet key partners before culminating in a showcase football match at Sligo Rovers Football Club.

We were also delighted to be joined by Kate Ferdinand, who hosted a Female Empowerment Workshop alongside Linfield Women's Captain Ashley Hutton, Sligo Rover's' very own Emma Hansberry, IFI Board member Bernie Butler and local Sligo current affairs journalist Jessica Farry.

The partnership between the Rio Ferdinand Foundation and the International Fund for Ireland brings together young people from Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Antrim, Tyrone, Fermanagh, and Derry/Londonderry through sport, sharing experiences and building trust and confidence between communities at a grassroots level.
