Range: southwestern Oregon down to southern Mexico and reaching across to Kansas
Habitat: forests and rocky habitats
Size: about 28 inches (70 cm) long including its tail
Diet: they eat just about anything
Threats: great horned owls, coyotes, the aforementioned bobcats, and racoons
Lifespan: 510 years
