In this video we take a good look inside the Gen 5 Ridgid Brushless drill and issues with the integrated speed controller. We try to repair the board, but damage to microcontroller makes it near impossible for me. We then at least show the nice brushless motor salvaged and ran easily with a cheap BLDC controller. Sure it will be handy....
