This is a Flight Review of our recent flight with Turkish Airlines from the New Istanbul Airport in Turkey to Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia. We arrived at the New Istanbul Airport on a Turkish Airlines Business Class Flight from Copenhagen and then spent the next 8 hours exploring the new Istanbul Airport before our next Turkish Airlines Longhaul flight to Kuala Lumpur.

We had been very much looking forward to trying Turkish Airlines Economy Class on a Longhaul flight as we had heard good things about this airline from Trip Reports we had watched on YouTube. After an excellent Turkish Airlines Business Class flight from Copenhagen to Istanbul we were looking forward to our next Turkish Airlines flight experience, a Turkish Airlines Economy Class Longhaul flight from the New Istanbul Airport to Kuala Lumpur Airport on a Turkish Airlines Airbus A330. Let´s not draw this out, we were not impressed with the Turkish Airlines Longhaul Economy Class Product. The Inflight Meals were all good (except Maxi´s Pasta Dish) and the flight attendants were all very friendly, professional and efficient. The Turkish Airlines Flight Attendants are some of the best we have experienced to date. Everything on our Turkish Airlines Airbus A330 was good except the most important part the Economy Class Cabin, it felt dated and squashed and the legroom seemed to be less than usual, as if an extra row or two or maybe even three had been squeezed into Economy Class to get a few more passengers onboard. Our Turkish Airlines Economy Class Flight Review Verdict for Longhaul flights is that we will not go out of our way to fly Turkish Airlines Economy Class again on account of the limited legroom and squashed cabin. We will however not hesitate to fly Business Class with Turkish Airlines again and hope to try their Business Class Product on one of their Longhaul routes some time in the future.
