In this vid I share my cleaning process and how I preserve, enhance and protect my metal detecting finds. If you watched my twopart videos entitled ‘WHERE ROMANS TROD’ you will know that I made an exciting haul of U.K. Roman artefacts and coins, all made of copper alloy / bronze, dating from around the 1st century AD. (Note i made a mistake with my pronunciation of the Emperor Antoninus Pius in this vid sorry Antoninus, won’t happen again )

As a beginner detectorist I’ve tried a few things including Renaissance Wax. I’ve been using Arteseal for a few months and I think it’s absolutely brilliant.
