How to Make Butter Chicken

Ingredients:
500g Boneless Chicken Cubes

For Tandoori Masala:
4g Cloves
20g Peppercorns ⚫
6g Cinnamon Sticks
3g Black Cardamom
10g Mango Powder (Amchoor Powder)
30g Black Cumin
3g Star Anise (Badian) ⭐
30g Dried Red Chilli

For Chicken Marination:
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Ginger and Garlic Paste
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
Pinch of Orange Food Colouring

For Gravy:
1 Tbsp Butter
2 Medium Sized Onions Chopped
500g Tomatoes
10g Cashew Nuts
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Chilli Powder
1/4 Tsp Garam Masala
1 Tsp Sugar
1/2 Tsp Vinegar
1 Cup Water

Additional:
12 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Cream

‍ Preparation Steps:
Tandoori Masala Preparation: Roast dried red chilli for 5 minutes on low heat and set aside. Roast all spices in a pan for 5 minutes. Grind all roasted spices and chilli finely. Tandoori Masala is ready.

Marinate Chicken: Mix chicken with salt, ginger and garlic paste, chilli powder, and orange food colouring. Marinate for 1015 minutes.

Cook Chicken: In a pan, add 2 Tbsp butter and marinated chicken. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Add Tandoori Masala, cook for another 10 minutes on low heat, covered. Let the water evaporate.

Prepare Gravy: In another pan, add butter, onions, tomatoes, cashew nuts, salt, chilli powder, garam masala, sugar, and vinegar. Cook for 5 minutes, then add water and cook for 1015 minutes. Blend until smooth.

Combine and Finish: Add gravy to chicken, mix well. Add 1 Tbsp butter and 2 Tbsp cream, cook for 5 minutes. Your Butter Chicken is ready!

Serving Suggestion:
Drizzle extra cream and garnish with herbs for a flavourful feast!
