This tutorial shows how to adjust the air/fuel ratio on a standard style pizza deck oven. A sure sign the air needs to be adjusted is that the flames are very orange and there will be excessive carbon or black soot buildup inside the oven. This could also cause an uneven bake and damage vital pieces of the oven. This procedure should always be done with the oven off, otherwise IT WILL BE HOT!
