Rescuing a flying-fox stuck on a balcony: this is Ficus

Ficus is a young adult male GreyHeaded FlyingFox who crash landed on the same balcony Renzo was rescued from 2 days previously.
Sometimes it happens like this; sometimes there are multiple calls for bats in the same location over a few days or a few weeks, then nothing ever again, or annually around the same time of the year for a few years.
There is a huge small leafed fig tree which ripe figs at the moment so the tree is a nighttime hangout to what seems to the MOPs (Members of Public) like the entire population of flyingfoxes in Sydney along with the noise, the squabbles, the mess, and did I mention the noise? Batties feeding in a tree are raucous, gregarious, squabbly, and loud in all their vocalisations.
The tree is quite inappropriately planted in a front yard and is now 30 metres high; being an existing large tree, the council won't allow removal, even when they were building the terrace development along the street; they just built the terraces around the tree.
I've been to 3 rescues in a house a few doors up the road in the last 2 years, in an internal courtyard in the house next door to the tree.

Ficus was a Mr Cranky Pants, and fanged my glucose tube again. He appears to be about the same as Renzo, with a little feist, a bit of a pain response, and enough crank and adrenaline to mask whatever injuries he may have. I do worry that he he's got a swollen penis, which is indicative of either a spinal or pelvic injury (but he has no signs of leg weakness), or a head injury.
I'm hoping he's a success story like Renzo.

Ficus is the botanical name for fig trees.
He's survived 24 hours so far but is quite squidgy.

Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for our batties. Tolga is an awesome place in Far North Queensland, which has charity status. By sending donations to them, they get a percentage (and deserve every cent) and they can allocate money to me for batty expenses without it becoming part of my income stream (which makes tax time difficult).

Mention Megabattie or Meg in the PayPal message box and the money will find its way to me.
If no message box appears, please email Jenny to tell her that the money is for me.
IMPORTANT: If you pay through the PayPal Giving Fund, can you please email Jenny with the AMOUNT DONATED and the name under which you have donated, OR just forward along the PP receipt.
The Giving Fund doesn’t charge any fees (so the bats get more money) but PP doesn’t itemise out the amount, they just send a total every month, and we don’t know if the money is for Tolga or for Megabattie.
Here’s Jenny’s email.
