I was in New York City teaching my "Saving Kittens" workshop, and on my way back to the apartment where I was staying, I encountered a woman trying to help a sick kitten in a feral colony.

The kitten, now named Pigeon, is a beautiful 7 week old tabby girl who is now receiving medication and love in Washington, DC with Kitten Lady. The mother, and any remaining kittens at the colony, will be humanely trapped and rescued. Pigeon will recover and soon enough find a loving forever home.
