Oh sweetest Lolly, another victim to the endless cycle of people getting a highenergy puppy and then dumping them when they’re too much
She’s a stunning sablecolored shepherd and is so young at only a year old. I suspect she may have some malinois to her as well, especially because she does the famous maligator teeth chattering She may sound tough in her kennel by barking, but she’s just trying to get anyone’s attention. Once you approach her kennel she starts wagging her tail and looks at you with the sweetest puppy eyes
Lolly tested ok with males a few days ago. But today she was tested with a female and Lolly was too overstimulated & tried to nip her butt. Overall, she’s more handlerfocused and I feel this behavior will improve once out of the shelter
Lolly is young and is showing signs of kennel stress. She can be very overstimulated when coming out of her kennel and needs an experienced handler as she can nip. NO KIDS please, atleast until she has had time to decompress. We don’t want her nipping to be a death sentence for her. Good thing, she shows good potential to learn! Recommend basic obedience & leash training, along with consistent exercise and mental stimulation.
At her core, Lolly is such a sweet girl and easily becomes your best friend. Very affectionate and loving. She’s about lowmedium drive, highenergy. She would love to go on hikes and trips with you, making her a perfect adventure buddy! She just needs a chance to shine in a home and decompress from the stressful shelter. If you’re a potential foster or responsible adopter, come meet her!
