When we received a text on the #HopeForPaws emergency line about a homeless dog by a busy road, Loreta and I rushed out to save her before something terrible happens. We spotted the dog at the same moment and approached the dog slowly so she wouldn't get spooked and run into traffic.

The #dog ran onto a property where we couldn't go in. Loreta was a little nervous because this area is notorious for gang activity. She wanted to grab the dog through the fence, but I didn't think it was a good idea because I didn't want Loreta to take (another) painful bite. It is really best to watch and see what happens next... we don't always agree, but the final result will melt your heart ❤
