With a new boiler install and moving to a sealed system we need to improve the flow rate and pressure to the house. The old iron pipework that has been sat in the ground for decades is simply to small and is corroding so it made sense to relay the supply.

Most water companies will connect the new supply up free of charge if replacing old iron/lead pipes so apart from the back breaking digging this is a very low cost improvement to an older property.
