Salvage Workshop

So the Pony Motor / Starting Engine's Clutch has always seemed a little suspect and I wasn't totally sure it was working properly... HOPEFULLY it's not DESTROYED!!!

Since EVERYTHING else on this old machine has been largely neglected, I decided to pull it out so we can go through it, figure out exactly how it works, & see if we can improve it a bit!

Join me as we continue to tearing into the Old Cat Traxcavator, because we are ONE step closer to putting this OLD BEAST back to work!

I'm also preparing for an awesome addition to "Old Red" that will make actually USING this old BEAST much better to operate!

If you'd be interested in helping out please send me an email at [email protected], I truly appreciate it!

Throughout this project we'll pay tribute to it's previous owner Red & those before him that truly knew how to maintain and operate such a cool old machine like this!

I'll show you that OLD machines CAN be a LOT of work, EXTREMELY frustrating at times, but once running properly, an INCREDIBLE amount of fun!!

I recently discovered this 60+ year old Caterpillar TraxCavator at an old chicken farm, and the owners have honored me with the privilege of bringing it back to life, and then putting it BACK TO WORK!

Join me as I take you along on my journey through the many ups and downs of this project! I feel honored to be taking on this project, and I truly hope you enjoy the process and progress as we get this OLD CAT to ROAR once again

Please enjoy! I know I did!
