Bee rescuers! We were invited to remove bees from a tree and rehive them.
In the wild bees will make their hives in trees, caves and just about any dark cavity they find. These wild bee populations are an important part of the ecosystem and help to maintain genetic diversity and so for the most part we leave them alone.
However these bees found themselves in the middle of a hotel development and could not be allowed to stay. Thankfully the owners did not just exterminate them they called in the services of Bee api for their safe removal and of course Bee Natural didn’t want to miss the chance to get involved and learn how this bee job gets done!
The whole process took about 45 hours over 2 days and involved a LOT of smoke and patience. These bees were pretty calm and we made it through the process with only a few stings but do not be fooled into trying this on your own call a professional!
