TEDx Talks

In her insightful talk Hannah explores the lack of public space and its effects on community and how providing supportive spaces for the coming together of communities to realise ideas is the most important way to regenerate a city. As a contemporary art performance MA student at The Royal College of Art, Hannah’s performance work explored personal and communal rituals and how neurotic behaviour can be utilised for catharsis in relation to trauma and mental health. As Assistant Curator and director at 'The Asylum Art Gallery and Studios ' Hannah assists artists to develop their work into a collection for the exhibition space. Her aim is to engage local communities to regenerate through the exploration of current and local interests as well as political grievances within the framework of the social model of disability. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
