Reason #1: Water inlet valve: This valve controls the water going into the refrigerator. If your refrigerator isn’t dispensing water, it could be due to a clogged or defective water inlet valve.

Reason #2: Water Filter Assembly: This assembly works together to filter the water as it comes into the fridge. If the water filter is old, clogged, or damaged, it may affect the ability of the fridge to dispense water. The water filter or parts within the water filter assembly may need to be replaced.

Reason #3: Dispenser Switch Bracket: The bracket holds the dispenser switch in the right position. If the dispenser switch bracket is damaged and stuck in place, the water won’t turn on.

Reason #4: Dispenser arm: The dispenser arm hits the switch opening the water valve, allowing the water to flow. If the water isn’t flowing, it could be that the dispenser arm is stuck in place and needs to be fixed or replaced.

Reason #5: Dispenser switch: The dispenser switch tells the water valve to open when it presses on the dispenser arm. If there is no water, it could be damaged.

Reason #6: Water Tank and Line: The water tank and line hold chilled water inside the refrigerator. If the line or tank water has become frozen or otherwise damaged, the water will not dispense from the water tank.
