Cade and I spent spring break at Reelfoot Lake. This was a trip that we've been trying to do for several years but life kept getting in the way. Bad storms forced us to start a day later than planned but we were determined to get there this year.
We stayed at the state park south campground, site #18.
Despite windy conditions, we were able to get the canoe out on the water and explore the Goose Pen canoe trail. The trail is a loop trail and I would suggest going clockwise. The trail markers are much easier to spot.
I always look forward to our little adventures!
