Redbird Flight Sim at New England Air Museum

EAA166 Hartford, Connecticut

The New England Air Museum at the Bradley International Airport has a new Redbird FMX electric motion flight simulator, and the museum is making it available to the public and to EAA members at reduced rates. For pilots who are flying less because of the pandemic (or winter weather), flying the FMX is a good way to polish up basic and instrument skills, and since the ATD (advanced training device) is FAA approved, you can even log training and recurrence hours, including many IPC tasks. EAA166 member Larry Anglisano spent some time in the sim with NEAM President Bob Stangarone and prepared this video.
