We hope that by sharing this new disease diagnosis that it'll help someone else out there experiencing the same issues. In case you missed our previous videos, Jared was diagnosed with a rare disease called Eosinophilic esophagitis (eosinoFILLik uhsofuhJIEtis). It is a chronic immune system disease. With this disease, a type of white blood cell, called an eosinophil, builds up in the lining of the tube that connects your mouth to your stomach. This tube is also called the esophagus. This buildup, which is a reaction to foods, allergens or acid reflux, can inflame or injure the esophageal tissue. Damaged esophageal tissue can lead to difficulty swallowing or cause food to get stuck when you swallow.

Eosinophilic esophagitis has been identified only since the early '90s, but is now considered a major cause of digestive system illness. Research is ongoing and will likely lead to revisions in the diagnosis and treatment of eosinophilic esophagitis.

We're Jared Bingham and Brittany Bingham–better known as Jared and Britt! We're a fun, upbeat, and energetic couple from Utah living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!

We're currently dealing with malefactor infertility due to azoospermia, which is stressful and emotional, but we love sharing both the ups and downs of our journey with all of you, and hope that by sharing our story can help others going through the same thing.
