What was my recovery time like after my fibroid removal surgery. I had an open myomectomy in July of 2020. This was my FIRST surgery, so I really didn't know what to expect before, during and after the surgery. On top of the fibroid removal surgery being my first procedure, I got it done during the COVID19 pandemic... so there were a lot of other precautions I had to deal with.
