►When we last saw Michael Essa's BMW 340i turned Drift Taxi, it was shredding around Gridlife events with its essentially OEspec engine. It handled all of the abuse that Essa threw at it for the season but suffered an issue while waiting for the next one, causing rod knock. To make matters worse, the failure occurred just a few days before the Taxi needed to be at an event. With little time to waste and FCP Euro HQ at his disposal, Essa decided to pull the turbocharged B58 straightsix and rebuild it better than ever.
