Someone asked me recently how it is that I am able to go into a church and immediately identify figures of the saints, even if they are not labelled. In this video I begin to explore how you can read medieval images through the objects, the attributes, medieval saints hold. This particular video focuses on the Twelve Apostles and the significance of the objects they hold and how that relates to their life story.
