Did you know that the Victorians were mean af? Cause they were. No one could serve an insult like a Victorian housewife (this is my hill, and I will die on it.) And while we live in an era of sugarysweet valentine's day cards and candy, during the 19th and early 20th century there was a trend for mean Valentine's Day cards, commonly referred to as Vinegar Valentines today, that served different degrees of burns, from the "haha" to the face scorching (and some so awful we refused to share them, ngl). Today, Chrissy, @NicoleRudolph, and I will rank some Victorian Valentine's Day cards on how funny and mean they are. Things get...weird. I hope you're ready...
