Fifteenyearold Hannah Haines has been raising goats for years. At Whitetail Acres Boer Goats in Hampstead, MD, she’s raising one from birth as a project for 4H, a youth ag education organization. Throughout the summer, we check in and see how the goat grows up and how Hannah learns more about the work that goes into raising animals. At the end, she shows the goat at a 4H competition where kids compete with the animals they raised.
