TURN ON ANNOTATIONS! (FOR A PLAYBYPLAY OF SORTS :) Motion Sensor Video footage Recently it has come to my attention that a masked intruder may have been thieving cat food, ... in my house! So I set up a camcorder and motion sensors to turn the lights on to find out for sure and the following is the interaction between Kosmo, the Maine Coon and the real McCoon!

This night was after I suspected the raccoon was actually coming in the house, the food had already been removed. This video took place around 1am and is just the one night. There was some lights off time and off camera stuff between the first time we saw them and the second time. Kosmo, my 13 year old Maine Coon had no scratches or cuts visible in the morning so even though they snarled, I believe they did not touch each other. Unless it was Kosmo that popped the Coon. The loud snarl I believe is the Raccoon and the grrrrr's are Kosmo.

The first instance of the raccoon, was months ago. Not that I thought he was coming in at that time. But after the more recent second instance, leading up to this video, I suspected he actually was coming in. And since he did on only the second night of hidden camera, that sucker has probably been coming in for months :( Animal control around here will not remove the animal which bummed me out. Kosmo is a indoor/outdoor cat and has no litter box. I need to figure out how to keep the coon out of my house and Kosmo safe. Though the safety doesn't seem to be an issue, the Coon has been around for months and Kosmo has never been attacked and is caught up on all his shots. In fact, I was quite surprised to see Kosmo as the one following the coon around. They didn't really seem to care all that much.
