These chickens are living with a rabbit and they are cleaning up my yard and making it better. This is a day two check in and it seems that everything is working just fine!

When I added rabbits to my beginner urban homestead I knew I wanted to use permaculture practices and have fun!! The Bunny Village was conceived.

Joel Salatin owns Polyface Farms. They rebuild the soil with regenerative agricultural practices. He has chicken tractors and a “Raken House”.

Justin Rhodes uses rotational grazing and chicksaws. He is a teacher and leader with his Great American Farm Tour and new docuseries, Rooted.

Jessica Soward at Roots and Refuge is known for Cheap Garden Trellises. I’ve learned about seed starting methods I will apply to our city garden.

I learned about the rabbit colony method and liked it. On a small city lot I needed to make my rabbit set up cute and fun like Lennon the Bunny. While our rabbits were inside we learned about litter box training, free roam, diet, cages, toys, bunny proofing, bunny village, rabbit 101 care, and how cute & funny rabbits can be!!
