Turkish Angora is a domestic cat breed, originating from Turkey in the 17th century. This ancient, breed of cats originated in the Ankara region of central Turkey and Turkish Angoras are also sometimes called the Ankara cat or simply, Angora.

These longhaired cats are known for their fine bone structure and shiny white coat. They mostly have bright blue eyes, amber eyes, or bluegreen eyes. Apart from the blue or bluegreen eyes, Turkish Angoras have also been found to have two eyes of different colors, such as one blue eye and one amber eye.
