Brie, my Briard, came into my life when she was 8weeks old. Currently, she is 5monthsold. Socialization period is between birth and approximately 4months of age. I recommend that families focus on socialization during this important time. It’s also a good time to use praise, toys, and food (Marker Training) to introduce puppy to how to control "body movements".

It’s been about two months since Brie’s last video. I wanted some privacy and time to bond and enjoy this important time in her life

Brie progress with her walking skills going through two types of front clip harnesses. She progressed from front clip harnesses to her ecollar. I'm an ecollar trainer with 15 years of experience.

Brie continues with her pivot board. I made this pivot board but you can also purchase pivot boards online. Pivot boards helps puppy learn about how to move their rear end and feet. Learning about how the rear body moves helps puppy later on with a nice straight heel and sit. In addition, there are many tricks that can be accomplished more easily when puppy has an understanding of their rear feet movement.
