I show how to use binoculars to safely project the sun with enough detail to see sunspots! I also compare it to my camera telephotos. I definitely prefer this over eclipse glasses, as you and everyone around can see the sun with greater detail, and you can take photos too!

The total solar eclipse is coming this April 8th, 2024! If you haven't bought solar eclipse glasses yet, but have a pair of binoculars, you can still see the sun with even more detail! Try this out and let me know what you think!


Note: Don't look through binoculars at the sun (unless you have proper solar filters) or you will likely be blinded.
