In 2018, Project KULEANA set out with native Hawaiian youth to explore KULEANA through the music, people and history of the places that they call home.

Hauʻula Pāka written by Cy Bridges was chosen by Project KULEANA to help the ʻōpio better understand who they are and where they come from. Written for the dedication of the new park facility at Hauʻula Beach Park, this song honors the familial relationship that the kupa of Hauʻula had with the land that they thrived in.
