In this video, we will take you through the process of casting a beautiful bee sculpture in an ambercoloured transparent epoxy. We will show you step by step how we created the mould, mixed the coloured resin, cast the bee, and created a custom base with LED lights to illuminate our masterpiece.

Our team of experts will take you through each stage of the process, starting with creating the former for the mould using carved PU foam and EC42 body filler. We will then show you how we poured SILASTIC 3481 RTV SILICONE to cover the former and how we mixed the ambercoloured transparent pigment with the epoxy base resin to create the desired tone of colour. From there, we will guide you through the process of degassing the resin and hardener mix to remove any air bubbles before pouring and how we fixed the bee sculpture into place using superglue
