Had an issue with a York YK centrifugal tripping on a vein position switch alarm. After doing some calibrations on the compressor prv I was able to get the switch to make. Then I figured out that the pull down settings were not configured which was leading to vsd motor overcurrent. This was one of those were one thing definitely led to another. Centrifugal compressors are a critical piece for HVAC technician to begin learning chillers and getting HVAC training.
