Typically this system is used as a home backup system for homes that experience blackouts or brownouts. However, a system like this can also server as a power system for an offgrid cabin, tiny home, yurt, or earthship. This was a sponsored video. We only test systems that we'd actually consider using in real life, and we give our unvarnished opinions. Cost is always a factor for us, and we love affordable / DIY solutions when possible.

With the ability to power 6000W of appliances at once, a system like this is great for emergency backup or offgrid living. This system has a battery capacity of 3840Wh (3.8kWh). The average US home uses about 2930 kWh of electricity daily.

We used this system to power:

Small AC Unit (~600W)
Oscillating fans (~50W)
Space heater (1400W we'd use our wood stove in real life, this was just for educational purposes)
Electric blanket (100W an energy efficient way to stay warm using the Anker SOLIX F3800)
Power tool charging: Chainsaw, mower, hedge trimmer, leaf blower (500W)
Small fridge / freezer (~100200W)
Dehumidifier (~300400W)
Lights (~2550W)
Air compressor (~1300W)

We were happy with the ease of use, performance, and ability to power many tools at once using this system. With a 10 year+ lifespan, this could be a good option for offgrid living.
