This is Stihl’s offering in the rotary scissors market that’s really a niche item. It’s available as an attachment to their Kombi multitool. Where this tool shines is for the finishing work on your lawn.

Traditionally anyone reel mowing their lawn had to use a string trimmer to clean up edge areas of the lawn like alongside fences, posts and hardtomow areas. A string trimmer can work but the finished result doesn’t match what your reel mower provides. Because the RG cuts the grass the same way that your reel mower does, you get the same scissors quality cut as a reel mower.

This provides a more consistent finish to the lawn.
