Thanks to the other fans whose video footage I used. Many thanks to FleshCop whose footage was used extensively, and a special thanks to Ed Davis for recording amazing audio with his Schoeps microphones from the front row balcony. And thanks to Datflys for the use of his 4K LUMIX point and shoot camera,

I filmed the show in it’s entirety from the front row (center / left) in 4K with a Lumix. The other angle that is featured often, was complete and is filmed from the front row to the (center / right ), filmed with an Iphone in 4K by FleshCop. These two intimate angles made for an excellent starting point to document and preserve this historic show in it's entirety. Other HD footage was used to fill in and add context throughout the concert.

I was super excited to have the opportunity to fly out to LA to coordinate, film, and edit this show. Since there are so few high quality video recordings available from the bands original days, and at this point we don’t know if they will play shows beyond this summer, it was important to me to document this the best we could. Besides Woodstock 94’ there isn’t a complete show in high quality.

It truly was a special and historic night, and I am proud of the footage we were able to capture. The bands performance far surpassed my expectations and was extremely tight and inspired. The sound up front was loud and lacked definition, especially in the midrange where the vocals suffered most lost in the mix. The sound blew over the front as in many small venues. In anticipation of this we secured a front row balcony seat where Ed Davis recorded masterful audio. This was an extremely important piece of the puzzle, in giving a more pleasurable and professional viewing and listening experience. Crank it up on nice speakers or throw some headphones on if you have them!

I hope you all enjoy!
