Pork Mechado recipe is a Pinoy version of Spanish pork stew. It is one of our tomatobased dishes, alongside with it are Menudo, Afritada and Kaldereta. In this dish, i put sugar and it completes the overall taste of this dish. Happy cooking!

Ingredients:

1 kg pork sliced into cubes
2 large potatoes cubed
2 carrots sliced
1 large bell pepper sliced
1 broth cube
1 lemon or calamansi
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 can 400g tomato sauce
1 glass water
6 cloves garlic chopped
2 large onions diced
1 tbsp sugar
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
cooking oil
