Please help us welcome our brand new porcupette! A baby prehensiletailed porcupine was born at Brookfield Zoo on March 19. The porcupette is being handreared by staff after it was observed that the mother, 9yearold Lucia, was not providing proper maternal care. The baby is thriving from the roundtheclock care provided by zoo staff and is growing strong due to a special customized formula. Stay tuned for more updates!
