In US news and current events today, Oregon police arrested a 21yearold black student who refused to show ID after being stopped for a biking violation. This 21yearold student was stopped for allegedly riding her bike on the wrong side of the road when she refused to show police ID, she got arrested.

Genesis Hansen, 21, is a student at Oregon State University. State police stopped her for failing to ride within the lanes. Under Oregon law, it is not illegal to refuse to identify yourself, but police can detain you until they establish your identity, according to the ACLU of Oregon allegedly.
