On the 4th of November, 2010, Qantas Airlines Flight 32 was headed to Sydney, Australia from London after a refuelling stop at the Singapore Changi Airport.

Nearly 500 people were on board the massive Airbus A380 plane when moments after takeoff, one of the engines exploded taking with it much of the aircraft's control and communication systems.

With the aircraft losing control and communications affected, the flight crew was faced with a difficult decision on whether to land Immediately or keep flying to possibly restore control.
