My 2nd trip to Angelo's Pizza in Philadelphia was better than my 1st trip. When I went 2 years ago I went unprepared and did not know they sell out of dough really fast, and so when I arrived on that evening, I was told that there was nothing left. There was only one pie available that was severely burnt in one corner and it was set to be discarded. Instead, the pie was offered to me for free, on the house, but it was cold and it was without any basil or shaved parmesan. This time, I made sure to go earlier on a weekday, when it wasn't so busy. And I got to try Angelo's the right way. And boy, was it great! And their Cheesesteak did not disappoint, although, it wasn't as perfect as their pizza.
