While working in the field, I stumbled upon three newborn puppies. They were sheltered under damp wood, possibly born to a stray dog. They were scavenging for scraps on the ground to satisfy their hunger. Realizing they needed nourishment, I fetched some food from home and fed them. After caring for them for a while, their mother was still nowhere to be found. It seemed she might never return. Worried the puppies wouldn't survive, I decided to bring them home and care for them.
